After another packed year on the road, we’re excited to share our 2027 Bike the US for MS ride lineup.
And 2027 is going to be a big one. For the first time in a while, both of our cross-country classics the TransAmerica and Northern Tier are on the calendar, alongside the Pacific Coast, Florida Coast and Keys, Olympic Peninsula, Vermont gravel route and our Grand Canyon & Zion adventure.
Whether you’re dreaming of two months crossing America, a month along the West Coast, or a weeklong challenge that fits around work and family, there’s plenty of opportunity to bike for MS in 2027.

Cross-Country Classics
TransAmerica Trail – Cycle Across America in 2027
June 6 – August 10, 2027 (65 days)
Fundraising goal: $5,675 ($1.50 per mile)
Our much loved coast-to-coast adventure returns in 2027. Starting in historic Yorktown, Virginia and finishing in San Francisco, California, the TransAmerica journey covers 3,785 miles across the country.
Along the way, riders experience just about every landscape America can throw at them. The mountain roads of Appalachia, rolling hills of Missouri, Midwest farmland, the Rocky Mountains, high desert and the spectacular final push through the Sierra Nevada toward California. The dramatic changes in scenery are part of what has made the TransAmerica one of our defining Bike the US for MS adventures.
Sixty five days on the road means plenty of challenging moments, but also friendships, host communities and experiences that are difficult to replicate anywhere else.

Weeklong MS Bike Adventures
Taking a month or two away isn’t possible for everyone. That’s why some of our favorite Bike the US for MS trips pack a huge amount of riding, scenery and adventure into less than a week.
Start the Year in the Sunshine
Florida Coast and Keys
February 26 – March 7, 2027 – Full Florida Coast (9 days)
March 5 – March 7, 2027 – Florida Keys only (3 days)
Fundraising goals: Coast $2,050 | Keys $850
Swap winter layers for palm trees with our earliest rides of the year.
The full Florida Coast adventure takes riders from Fernandina Beach down the East Coast of Florida before continuing through the Keys to Key West. Compared with many of our hillier routes, Florida offers gentler terrain, plenty of coastal riding, wildlife and an extensive network of bike paths.
Don’t have nine days available? Join the team in Miami for the final three-day Florida Keys ride to Key West. Covering 170 miles, it’s a great long-weekend introduction to Bike the US for MS and includes some of the most memorable riding of the trip.

Olympic Peninsula Bike Ride
August 16 – August 22, 2027 (7 days)
Fundraising goal: $1,000 ($3 per mile)
One of our favorite shorter adventures returns in August immediately following our 20 Year Celebration in Seattle.
Starting and finishing in Seattle, our Olympic Peninsula ride takes cyclists around one of the most beautiful corners of the Pacific Northwest. Expect ferry crossings, rocky coastline, small waterfront towns and miles of lush forest as the route loops around Olympic National Park.
The 360-mile ride includes more than 20,000 feet of elevation, so don’t let the shorter distance fool you. There’s still plenty of climbing packed into the week. The reward is some spectacular riding and a logistically simple adventure that begins and ends in Seattle.

Gravel Riding in Vermont
Vermont Gravel Ride
September 11 – September 17, 2027 (6 days)
Fundraising goal: $1,250 ($5 per mile)
After making its way onto our calendar for 2026, we’re heading back to the dirt for another Vermont gravel adventure in 2027.
Vermont provides just about the perfect setting for gravel riding. Quiet dirt roads, small towns, farms, rolling countryside and plenty of climbing. The route was originally designed around days of approximately 45–50 miles, linking together some of the best gravel the Green Mountain State has to offer.
If you like the idea of Bike the US for MS but fancy trading busy roads for gravel, this could be the 2027 ride for you.
