Celebrating our amazing contributions to multiple sclerosis organizations this year — all because of you!

Wondering where your hard-earned fundraising dollars are going this year? We’re proud to share that this year, we’re donating almost $100k to 12 organizations that help people living with MS get the care they need and live their lives to the fullest.
Here’s where the funds from every ride are going this year:
Northern Tier
Our Northern Tier team was a powerhouse for fundraising this year, with total donations surpassing our goal of $250,000. Because of this team’s incredible effort, we were able to make amazing contributions to several organizations doing great work for people living with MS.
Fairview Multiple Sclerosis Achievement Center (U of M Foundation) – Minneapolis, MN

We are thrilled to be making a $15,000 donation to the Fairview MS Achievement Center, which the team visited on their rest day in Minneapolis. This donation is part of our long-standing partnership with Fairview. They have one of the most impactful programs we’ve encountered on our cross-country journey.
Our gift will help sustain the center’s exceptional work in wellness, rehabilitation, and community-building for people living with MS.
Cleveland Clinic Multiple Sclerosis Laboratories – Cleveland, OH

On their rest day in Cleveland, the Northern Tier team had an amazing tour of the laboratories and a presentation by MS researchers at the Cleveland Clinic. Bike the US for MS will be making a donation of $6000 to the lab that will go towards finding a cure for MS. The donation contributes to a larger two-year research initiative that focuses on developing new therapies. This initiative harnesses new technology like AI-driven target prediction, in vitro screening, and hybridoma production. 2025 Northern Tier cyclist Mia Cozart will be completing her postdoctoral work at the clinic as well!
The Burke Flynt Project – CoxHealth Foundation – Springfield, MO

In honor of the Northern Tier cyclist Burke Flynt, who passed away this summer, Bike the US for MS will be making a $5,500 donation to the CoxHealth Foundation in Burke’s home of Springfield, MO. Burke is survived by his wife, Jackie, who will be overseeing the project. We hope to continue these donations annually to support health care for uninsured folks with MS in Springfield.

Our Long-Standing Partnership with Swedish Multiple Sclerosis Center – Seattle, WA

Our largest contribution of 2025 is a $27,500 donation to the Swedish MS Center in Seattle — a nationally recognized leader in comprehensive MS care. This donation is possible due to the combined efforts of the Northern Tier, Pacific Coast, and Olympic Peninsula teams.
Swedish MS Center’s model aligns closely with our mission: not just to fund research, but to directly improve the lives of people living with MS today. Swedish has been a leading clinic providing holistic care for people living with MS in the PNW, and one of our longest partnerships.
This year, we will be making our biggest donation to Swedish to date, with $27,500 going towards improving their patients’ lives through medical care, rehabilitation, mental health services, wellness programs, and community engagement including their Adventure Program.
Pacific Coast and Olympic Peninsula:
MS, I’mpossible – Seattle, WA

This year, we are making a $7,500 donation to MS, I’mpossible that will fund care packages, peer mentorship, wellness support, and retreats for young adults who have been newly diagnosed with MS. As more people with MS are diagnosed earlier and earlier, we want to help younger individuals navigate the changes that having MS brings to their lives. The mission of MS, I’mpossible very closely aligns with our goal to support people living with MS and build a stronger, more connected community.
Meat Fight – Based in Dallas, TX

Thanks to the Pacific Coast team we are also donating $10,000 to Meat Fight, an organization that helps people living with MS get bikes, training, and support to take on endurance events. This donation will cover the cost of all equipment and support for 10 athletes with MS to conquer endurance challenges.
Boston to Cape Cod:
MS Dream Center – Providence, RI

After an amazing visit with the family that runs the MS Dream Center, we are thrilled to make a $3000 donation to the program. Our connection with the members of the Dream Center was very special and deeply moving. This money will go directly to providing free activity programming and comprehensive support for people living with MS and their caregivers.
The Boston Home – Boston, MA

We also had a lovely visit with the residents of the Boston Home, a residential center for people living with MS and other neurological conditions. We presented a check for our $3000 donation thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Boston to Cape Cod team.
Florida Coast:
University of Miami Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence – Miami, FL

Thanks to fundraising efforts from this year’s Florida Coast and Florida Keys teams, we were able to make a donation of $3000 to the University of Miami’s MS Center of Excellence. This is our third year making a donation to the program! The center provides medical care, physical and occupational therapy, and other core parts of comprehensive care for people from all over Florida living with MS.
Grand Canyon and Zion:
Barrow Neurological Institute – Phoenix, AZ

Our Grand Canyon and Zion team is currently still fundraising ahead of their inaugural trip in October! However, we are hoping to be able to make an $8000 donation to the Barrow Neurological Institute after the Grand Canyon and Zion ride. Barrow will be holding an event where our team can meet patients and providers over lunch after they roll into Phoenix, AZ.
Nina Fraser Scholarship Fund

This year, we used our Nina Fraser Scholarship Fund to support 2025 Northern Tier Cyclist Mia Cozart. We were able to give Mia $1000 to cover the cost of a new bike. Mia just completed her PhD in MS treatment research and rode across the country in honor of her mother Deb, who has MS. Unfortunately, she discovered a crack in her front fork a week into the trip. We are so glad that the Nina Fraser Scholarship Fund allowed her to finish the ride on a new bike!
Jangler Teur and Rolling with Randall
Multiple Sclerosis Alliance of Virginia – Salem, VA

Even without our usual TransAmerica ride in 2025, we were determined to continue supporting our longtime partners at the MS Alliance of Virginia (MSAV). This year, we were able to make a $5000 donation to the MSAV thanks to two groups affiliated with our organization!
The first group centered around Randall Pope, a veteran with MS, who rode across Virginia in his wheelchair. The second is a group of friends who call themselves the “Janglers” and raise money for MS on their mountain biking “Spring Teur” trip in Virginia.
MSAV is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to supporting people living with MS across the state through education, connection, and community events. We’re excited to return to Virginia with our Transamerica team in 2026 and continue to support them!
And the rest?
The rest of your funds go towards our national projects, like the individual grants program we run in partnership with the National MS Society. These grants provide direct support to those living with MS across the country.
We’re thrilled that 2025 was one of our best fundraising years in recent history, and it’s all because of our amazing riders and their supporters. Let’s keep this energy going in 2026!
