In case you haven’t heard, there’s a new member of the “behind the scenes” team at Bike the US for MS! We’re very excited to introduce Justin Krute, our new Program Coordinator.

Justin will be filling Rayna’s role as she pursues a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. Go Rayna! With a passion for service and cycling, Justin is excited to continue Rayna’s work as well as utilize his own strengths to make an impact.

How Justin Got Involved

Justin first came across Bike the US for MS in early 2025 while waiting to hear back from job applications. Instead of finding an office job, he found an opportunity to be a Route Leader on the Northern Tier. Justin’s mother Lisa lives with Cerebellar Ataxia, which has sparked his drive to help others affected by Central Nervous System diseases. Taking the job was a no brainer for Justin!

After being a part of the organization’s inaugural Boston to Cape Cod ride in Spring 2025 he was hooked. One of his highlights of the trip was the team’s visit to the MS Dream Center of Rhode Island. He also loved spending time with the team, a seasoned group of Bike the US for MS alumni. Justin “continued the stoke” across the Northern Tier and was part of a team which amassed over $260,000 in fundraising. He also returned in the fall as a Route Leader on the inaugural Grand Canyon & Zion ride!

Justin’s Favorite On-the-Road Moments

Justin’s favorite part of route leading is having the opportunity to meet with the individuals who are directly impacted by our donations. He felt particularly lucky to meet Meg Williams of Thetford, VT, those at the MS Achievement Center in Minneapolis, MN, and Dr. Michael Robers,a neurologist in the MS Program at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ.

With Justin’s addition, we bring in a fresh mind with a broad range of experience. He describes his new position as, “a dream job that I didn’t even know existed six months ago”. Justin has a resume ranging from ski resort administration to bartending. He promises to bring both consistency and creative chaos to the team!
