Help me raise over $1 per mile for my ride! (Tax deductible ID #27-2192426) Funds raised in 2013 will support UVA's James Q. Miller MS clinic in Charlottesville, Swedish MS Center in Seattle, and Fairview Achievement Center in St. Paul. In addition to these contributions, we will fund home modification projects across the US.

My name is Shannon and I'm a graduate student in counseling psychology. I was raised in Virginia and finished my undergrad at UNC Chapel Hill, but I've lived all over the US. I try to take every opportunity I can to travel, meet new people and experience new things.
 
In 2011, I discovered Bike the US for MS and knew instantly that it was a challenge I couldn't resist. The TransAm tour was one of the best summers of my life. The changing landscape was truly amazing but the friends I made and the people we served renewed my spirit.  
 
I can't wait to be on the tour again and help new riders conquer all the challenges that come with crossing the US on bicycle. More importantly, I'm excited to create awareness about MS and connect with people along the way that are impacted by this disease. Thank you in advance for supporting this great cause!
